Classes Timetable

At Greenhills we have a multitude of wellbeing classes that run each week during the term.

Due to the COVID 19  shutdown of Aug/Sept, 2020 classes are currently suspended at the centre.  

We are very keen to reopen to our lovely community.  Please keep updated with Facebook for our reopening and check out our online classes in the meantime.

PILATES - MIND &  BODY

Monday
9.30-10.45

A gentle class focusing on core strength and stability.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat and a water bottle.

$130 for 10 Weeks

GENTLE PILATES

Monday

11.00-12.15

This 75 minute class is specifically for beginners, older adults, and people of varying physical abilities. Working holistically with the mind, body and soul connection, you'll build core strength, improve your posture, and strengthen and stretch your entire body and reduce stress.

Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat, a water bottle, and a small cushion.

$130 for 10 Weeks

SISTER SESSIONS

1st Monday each month
7 - 9 pm

Our award nominated monthly sessions to learn new skills and meet new people.

On the first Monday night of each month we host one off-workshops. Come along

DRU YOGA

Tuesday
10.00 am - 11.30 am

DRU channels and transforms the body's energy system, using techniques which work gently and effectively to reduce stress and increase the sense of well being.

Suitable for all ages and abilities.

$130 for 10 weeks

PILATES

Tuesday evening 

7.00 pm - 8.15 pm

Holistic Pilates based movement class which integrates body, mind and soul, and is suitable for people who are generally in good health. You'll strengthen, stretch, and re-align your entire body. Each session ends with 15 minutes of relaxation and meditation.

Please wear comfortable clothing, and bring a mat and water bottle.

$130 for 10 weeks

IN-BETWEENERS SOCIAL GROUP

7.30pm First Wednesday of the Month

Come and join a friendly social group of like-minded people. The group meets on a monthly basis to socialise and organise outings and activities such as movies, live shows, concerts, and walks as decided by group members. Cost for outings will depend on the activity.

Gentle passive exercise that promotes health and fitness and improves peace of mind. Suitable for all ages, abilities, and fitness levels.

Hatha yoga to calm and strengthen your body and mind. Each session includes guided relaxation and breathing practices.

WALKING GROUP

Thursday 10 am -11 am

Promoting well-being through physical activity and conversations. For women of all ages.

Aimed at people wanting to walk as a group in a casual and friendly manner. See the lovely parks and scenery that Greensborough and surrounds have to offer, and meet new friends along the way.

$7 per term

JOYFUL MOVEMENT AND MEDITATION

Thursday 11.00 am - 12 noon

A class with a difference. Explore movement and music in ways that are uplifting, creative and rejuvenating. Discover new and fun ways to exercise your body and brain. The exercises are designed to increase strength, expand movement range, improve balance and coordination. Restore mental and physical harmony. Includes a short meditation. This class is suited for all ages.

$130 for 10 weeks

BOOMERANG BAGS

Thursdays 
12.30 pm - 2.30 pm

On Thursdays we sew reusable shopping bags from up-cycled materials.

All are welcome, no sewing experience necessary (we have wonderful sewing teachers)

FITNESS & HEALTH CIRCUIT

Friday 9.15-10.15

Various timed exercise stations using different movement patterns and planes of motion, agility, strength, balance, and flexibility. This fun and challenging class caters for all ages with a basic level of fitness and without major injury or physical limitations. All equipment supplied.
